The movie takes place in 1993, following the discovery of Lovely Mathen's murder. The local police are under pressure to "find" a perpetrator who does not come from one of the two Christian factions in the community. A top police officer warns that "central Travancore will burn" if the murderer is affiliated with one of the rival factions.
A. P. Arjun is the director of the 2019 Indian Kannada romantic comedy drama film Kiss, which is produced by V. Ravi Kumar under the Rashtrakuta Pictures label. Following A Second Hand Lover (2015), it is the second Kannada film that draws inspiration from the 2004 South Korean film 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant. Viraat and Sreeleela, who are making their film debuts, play the main characters in the movie, while Chikkanna, Sadhu Kokila, and H. G. Dattatreya play supporting parts. Sreeleela engaged Mayuri Kyatari to dub her dialogue.[1]
Kiss completed a 100-day theatrical run at the box office to become a commercial triumph.[2]
